Barbican author Karen Stevens was recently interviewed by fellow writer Joe Bedford about her debut collection Brilliant Blue. They discussed the research and writing processes that went into the collection, along with topics of identity, class and place. Karen mentions some of the books and authors that inspired her along with the personal experiences that influenced the book.
